Past Inaugurations Show That Incoming And Outgoing Presidents Act Totally Differently




Now that the inauguration of the 45th President of the United States Donald Trump is in the history books, people have taken to the internet to interpret the pictures and video of what happened that day. Some people claim that Donald and his wife Melania looked cold or impersonal that day compared to the bubbly Obamas. If you take a look at pictures from inaugurations past, you begin to see that perhaps all incoming presidents look a little stunned that day. After all, they are just stepping foot into one of the most powerful positions in the world…

It’s hard to imagine what was going through his mind as he was sworn in as the leader of the free world. 




As presidents do on inauguration day, Trump gave an impassioned and confident speech laying out the general direction he wishes to take the country over the next four years. 













Many people have been interpreting this inauguration-day photo as evidence that Trump and Melania have a cold relationship or that they are overly serious.






Here’s another shot of what some consider a lack of emotion.


Some people have even pointed out situations in which Melania looked depressed or sad. It’s hard to believe on such a momentous day, but let’s see…

You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant.
