It’s a difficult position to be in — it’s embarrassing because you never feel like you’re pulling your weight, and sometimes you have to do some degrading shit just to get the other person to pay for your movie ticket (I once licked peanut butter out of some weird place just to see Avatar in 3D).  Well, the next penniless boyfriends don’t seem to mind at all, in fact, they have absolutely no shame! And probably soon, no girlfriend!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
