He has dipped his feet into nearly every facet of entertainment. I mean, he started in rap, moved into producing, got into acting and now stands as a rap god.


Or something similar to that effect. But besides what I just told you, he’s done a bunch of stuff in his life you should care about. Like…











1. He has some Native American in his blood.


Although he’s African-American he says he has Aboriginal ancestry.




2. He still drives his 1993 Acura Legend because he says it “keeps me grounded.”

3. He’s cousins with comedian Katt Williams and related to to comedy LEGEND, Richard Pryor.


He’s a second cousin, once removed, of comedian Richard Pryor. How? Ludacris’s maternal great-great-grandparents, William A. Craig and Nancy, were also Pryor’s great-grandparents.




4. Before he hit it big, he was a lowly intern and then DJ for Hot 97.5 (now 107.9) FM in Atlanta.

You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
