I’m a parent. 


That is supposed to mean that, at all costs, I am to protect my children and keep them safe.


But that task becomes 10 times more difficult when you have a husband who needs just as much supervision. A dryer sheet once fell from a load of laundry I was carrying, and within five minutes, my husband stepped on it, slipped, and came crashing to the ground in a giant THUD. Think: banana peel in a cartoon.


Yes, even adults require adult supervision, and for a surprising number of reasons. 


But, don’t take my word for it — the proof is in the pudding… just don’t try this at home.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
