10 Pictures That Show The "Ideal" Woman Throughout The Years
Human beings are extremely judgmental things, though it’s somewhat fair. I mean, it’s in our nature to comment on other people, whether it’s positive or negative. This is especially true when it comes to shaming women and making them conform to ridiculous standards. Though people have become more accepting when it comes to body image over the past couple of years, there’s always been a trend for women to look a certain way. The difference now is that they are being told to look like a photoshopped image rather than something that is at least realistic. Here are 11 pictures that show the so-called “ideal” woman body throughout the years.
What do you think about the current state of “preferred” bodies? COMMENT and let us know.
Let’s be honest, people are prettttyyyy shallow.

The sculpture of Nefertiti (1330-1370BC) shows that the preference at the time was for absolute symmetry.

In 1635, a more full-figured body was preferred to the current slender one.

In 1897, facial features became a big thing, though breasts began to play a large role (minus cleavage). Ankles were also sexualized. Big breasts, thin waists, and big butts. Think corsets.
