Fans of The Big Bang Theory are celebrating as it was just announced that CBS has ordered a spin-off series that will actually be a prequel. There are a lot of details that are still in the works, but we also know quite a lot about what the show will be about, who’s going to star in it, and when we can expect it to air. The current show has been running strong for 10 seasons, and its fan base is definitely devoted, so we’re sure there are a lot of people really excited about this news!
We were so excited to hear that a spin-off of The Big Bang Theory will air sometime in the 2017-2018 season. We now know that the show is going to be called Young Sheldon.

It will star Iain Armitage, who is going to be playing Sheldon at nine years old.

We know that each episode will be 30 minutes long, but as of now, we don’t know how many episodes have actually been ordered.

The series will also feature Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan.

We’re also really happy to hear that Jim Parsons (who plays Sheldon) will narrate the adult version of himself.

SHARE if you’re excited about this new series!
