Have you ever been having a perfectly good day and then looked in the mirror only to have your mood instantly destroyed? Yeah, me neither, but that’s just because I happen to be very attractive…


Anyway, generally speaking, we all have our off days, and our reflections can be particularly harsh reminders of that. Well, the next 16 people’s reflections are definitely more unfortunate than anything you’ve ever seen staring back at you from your own mirror on a sleep-deprived fat day. Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
