Disney Then Vs Now




It’s hard to say which Disney era is better.


Classic Disney movies are full of traditional animation and full of the characters ingrained in our brains. But the new movies offer so much to a new generation that it is really hard to say which is best. And that’s when the comparisons start. And as the Classic Disney generation grows older they start to realize things about old Disney movies that haven’t quite made it into the new movies. Here are some moments from Disney movies that either draw or blur the lines between Classic and New.

1. There has yet to be a character as fabulous as Hades in New Disney.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
