Angelina Jolie Pitt was on top of the world back in the day. 


Everyone and I mean EVERYONE wanted to cast her as the hot (insert occupation).


And during the height of Jolie-mania she starred in a little movie called Lara Croft: Tomb Raider. 


It was based on a hot video game character running around in skimpy clothes and we lost our minds… here are things you obviously missed because you were drooling.











1. Angelina Jolie didn’t want to wear the character’s short shorts but she gave in after she knew how much fanboys would eat that kinda stuff up.


It clearly paid off because fans went out in droves.




2. The movie did TERRIBLY with critics but fans still made it the biggest grossing action film with a woman in lead role.


I wonder why?











3. Angelina stole the gun holsters from the set and still has them at home.


Minus the guns though.




4. Lara Croft was going to be naked in the shower scene but the director wanted that sweet, sweet PG-13 rating.


The naked shower scene was an homage the epilogue of the video game sequel so we only get side-boob.

You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
