Charlotte, North Carolina has been the site of passionate protests concerning the death of 43-year-old Keith Lamont who was killed at the hands of the police. After 43-year-old Keith Lamont was killed in a police altercation in Charlotte, North Carolina, protests immediately erupted. 






In the chaos that followed over the next several days, both peaceful and violent protests took place. 


Several police officers as well as civilians were injured in the unrest. To date, tensions still exist in Charlotte as a result of these unfortunate events. 











Meet five-year-old Jayden Hooker, who lives in the area of this unrest.
