1. Christina was born on February 12, 1980 in Santa Monica, California. 


She is the fourth and youngest child of real estate agent Sarah Murdoch and lawyer and group therapist Ralph Ricci. 




2. Christina was discovered by a talent agent in a school play when she was eight years old. 


It turns out another child was originally chosen to play Christina’s part. But the young actress tricked the other child into hitting her, tattled on him, and he lost the role as a result. Innovation at its finest! 











3. At age 10, Christina made her film debut in the 1990 movie Mermaids alongside Cher and Winona Ryder.


I was obsessed with this movie as a kid. If you haven’t seen it yet, I strongly recommend watching!
