You know how there are some fucked up situations we get into where it feels like our life is about to do a freeze frame? And while we’re standing there, we can almost hear ourselves saying “yup, this is me. You’re probably wondering how I got here.”

Well, sometimes even we’re not sure how we got there. One minute everything’s cool and the next, we’re naked with a gaggle of angry geese chasing us. If we’re lucky, these situations don’t come around too often, but we can at least be sure we’ll get a good story out of them when they do.

After all, if there’s anything we learn from these 16 unfortunate souls, it’s that these weird times in our lives can be hilarious to everyone who’s not going through it.

1. Hahaha, I like how even the 2005 version of her could only take so much of this.

Even though her reaction was probably more “no, don’t take that one” than “I’ve made a terrible mistake!”

2. Man, your guess on what happened here is as good as mine.

Was his food spicier than he was expecting? Is he just that committed to showing winter he’s a badass? Did he wake up like this? There are so many possibilities!

3. Of course, sometimes you and your friends won’t quite agree on whether you’re in over your head.

If they’re holding a funeral for you, though, that might be a clue. 

4. I feel you, it’s very easy to not even know this is happening until it’s already done.

Nothing fills you up like a stomach full of regret.

Of course, it doesn’t help when the industry keeps egging you on.
