Note Left On Drunk Woman"s Car Is Best Reason Ever Not To Drive Drunk

Have you ever got blasted at some local bar and left your car in the parking lot overnight?

What’s your experience been with doing that? Have you ever returned to Big Jim’s Grits and Pickles Jamboree, or whatever strip mall blight you spent too much money at, and found a ticket? Maybe your ex drove by at 4 a.m. and wrote obscenities on your windshield with lipstick.

Well, what happened to a Canadian woman when she returned to the bar the next day was something I’ve never heard happening before. It goes without saying that the next time I happen to be driving through Sherwood Park, Alberta, I know what restaurant I am hammering back 13 Coors Lights at.

We’ve all done it…

We’ve all went to a bar, had one too many beverages, said some obscene things, and then taken an Uber home hoping that when we return to pick up our car in the morning, it won’t have a ticket on it or vagrants sleeping in it.

In Alberta, Canada, a woman did this very thing.

She took an Uber home like all good drunk folks ought to do and the next morning, when she eventually woke up and showered off the hangover, she went back to the bar to pick up her vehicle.

After getting to her car, she noticed there was a note on the window.

Was it by an angry ex who noticed her car?Was it by some belligerent bylaw officer?No. Better than both those things…by quite a lot, actually. The note that was left on her car has single-handedly convinced me to stop at Original Joe’s Restaurant & Bar the next time I’m inexplicably in Sherwood Park, Alberta, for no other reason than to receive a note just like this.
