We’ve all heard about the high-tech Air Force One that the president flies on, but what about the motorcade that he uses to get around after hopping off of Air Force One? Security is serious business when it comes to the POTUS. 

The vehicle Barron and President Trump are walking by in this photo is the presidential motorcade and the inside of this vehicle is incredibly unique. 

On the outside, the vehicle looks pretty normal, but this is definitely not the case on the inside.

Known officially as “Cadillac One,” the presidential motorcade is so well prepared for attack that it has also earned the name “The Beast.”

“The Beast” is a far cry from the early forms of the presidential motorcade. Here is President Taft’s official car in 1911. 

Through the years, the motorcade has transformed quite dramatically.
