12-Year-Old Taylor Smith Recently Died And Left Behind The Most Heart-Shattering Letter Ever




Taylor Smith, a 12-year-old from Johnson City, Tennessee, passed away on January 5, 2014, from a sudden onset of pneumonia. Despite this tragedy, Taylor was a special little girl, optimistic and cheerful. Never was this more evident than in a letter that her parents came across.











This is the late Taylor Smith with her family.






After she passed away from pneumonia, her parents, Tim and Mary Ellen Smith, stumbled upon this letter. 













They flipped it over and saw this:

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
