School can be hell when you’re in it. Elementary school was pretty dope, but then it ended and you were right back at the bottom of the totem pole in the glorified four-year popularity contest that is high school. YAY! Then you make your way to college, experiment with a lot of things and come out on the other side as the person you were meant to be, or at least want to be, I guess. Either way, we all go through similar experiences during those younger years, and if you haven’t been through them yet, oh boy they’re comin’!

Can Your Ex Tell The Difference Between Adele Lyrics And Drunk Texts? This Girl Found Out!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
