Can’t decide what to watch, sports or a movie? Put on Goon! You get all the brutality of a hockey fight with the charisma of Sean William Scott. And now with a sequel coming out (!!!!) we have more reason then ever to re-watch what will obviously become a hockey classic. Here are some facts about everyone’s fave enforcer, Goon.

1. Sean was never a hockey fan before this movie.

To be fair – if you’re not from the frozen tundra that is Canada I don’t think anyone expects you to be…

2. The movie is based on a real guy – Doug “The Thug” Smith.

He’s a cop now, and probably one you would not want to mess with.

3. Jay Baruchel co-wrote, produced and starred in Goon!

4. Jay – who’s from Ottawa – actually is in love with the sport and created another Twitter account just so he could talk about The Montreal Canadiens.

This is aggressively Canadian.

If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
