The Real Differences Between Lust And Love

If you’re starting to feel a little more serious about someone, you’re probably also asking yourself this:

Is it love or lust?

In other words, is this something that’s going to sustain you over the long haul or is it something that’s going to fade with the first real fight? It can be really hard to tell, but time really does reveal all. Time shows true character and will help you understand whether this really is love, or if it’s just lust.

Now, as a side, there is nothing wrong with lust. Lust has its own purpose and can be incredibly satisfying. That being said, lust can sometimes come at the cost of love. You seek it, find it, and hang on so tightly you can’t see the little red flags letting you know this one isn’t going to turn into love. If you’re after love, don’t compromise it just for lust. Wait for the real thing: Trust me, it’s so worth it.
