Husband Explains Why Marrying Doesn"t Mean You"ll Only Ever Be With One Woman
Love is one of the most complicated emotions to explain. While we can feel it, most of us don’t fully understand it. Some of us even fear it.
Love, like age, has the power to change us. It teaches us about ourselves in ways that aren’t possible when we’re alone. It shows us how to open up and give ourselves over to something outside ourselves.
We know we change as we grow. This, in turn, changes our relationships with others. When you’re in it for the long haul (AKA marriage), these changes can mean one of two things: For some couples, these changes can threaten what they thought they knew about their love; for others, it can create a wonderment and constant state of falling in love all over again. The latter is the kind of love we’re all looking for. It’s based on understanding, acceptance, and unwavering devotion.
Best-selling author Dale Partridge has found this kind of love and wants to share his thoughts on it with us all. Fair warning: You might want to grab a tissue.
This is Dale Partridge.

He thinks a lot about masculinity, love, and marriage. He uploads his thoughts to his personal Facebook page.

The post begins: “Men are so worried that marriage will leave them with ‘only one woman’ for the rest of their lives.”

He goes on to explain: “I fell in love with a 19-year-old rock climber…”
