16 Surprising Things About Channing Tatum

I remember the first time I fell in love… with Channing Tatum. My friends dragged me to see Step Up in theaters and I walked out of that movie convinced that he was going to be the next big thing in Hollywood. Channing has continued to make movies that have been successful and it looks like there’s nothing stopping him! Here are things you might not know about the Hollywood hunk!

1. Magic Mike was all based on his experiences as a male stripper. He stripped for eight months because he really needed the cash.

But he didn’t even end up making that much! “On a good night, I would make $150. Not as much as you think. On a bad night, $70 – even $50 at times.”

2. His stage name was Chan Crawford.

Ooohh. Chan Crawford sounds very mysterious!

3. Channing showed off his dance moves in Step Up but he can do a lot more than that. His parents made him play tons of sports growing up, like baseball, track and field, soccer and football!

He even practiced martial arts as a child. Whoa. This guy is athletic!

4. Channing’s first job in Hollywood was actually as a dancer in Ricky Martin’s music video for “She Bangs.” He only earned $400 for it!

Rewatch it and see if you can spot him! Hint: he’s shirtless.

Can Your Ex Tell The Difference Between Adele Lyrics And Drunk Texts? This Girl Found Out!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
