After Six Miscarriages, Mom Cherishes Coming Of "Rainbow Baby" With Beautiful Photo




Every mother hopes for the health and well-being of their child even before they are born, but unfortunately, some things are out of their control. Mothers who have had miscarriages or suffered infant loss are still mothers and often try to have another child again. When they do conceive again, these babies are called rainbow babies. The name symbolizes what comes after a storm and that things can get better. “The rainbow is more appreciated having just experienced the storm in comparison.”


This mother became pregnant with her own rainbow baby after numerous heartbreaks and was able to celebrate in a beautiful and powerful way.

 Jessica Mahoney has gone through one of every mother’s worst nightmares.


She has miscarried six times after the birth of her son.




But now she has been given a gift.


Jessica and her husband Kevin are expecting a rainbow baby.











Rainbow babies are babies that have been conceived and born after a mother has miscarried.


To celebrate their unborn child, Kevin contacted photographer JoAnn Marrero to set up something really special for their family.
