Halloween is right around the corner, and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s that time of year when I can finally watch my favorite Halloween movies. I mean, I guess I could watch Beetlejuice in the summer, but it feels so much better to watch it around Halloween. Halloween movies just get me in the spirit, but I usually tend to stick to fun ones. I’m not a big fan of scary films. I watched Saw a couple of years ago, and I’m still scared. As much as I try to stay away from scary Halloween movies, I can’t escape them. I see so many people online recreate makeup looks that are inspired by Halloween movies. These looks are so cool and creative! Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
