Create Delicious Apple Pie Dumplings
Apple pie dumplings are the easy way of getting the flavor of apple pie with, like, a quarter of the work. This is the kind of recipe that tastes like you worked really hard, but really only minimal effort was put forward. Pillsbury is the real MVP in this recipe because it takes most of the work out of it for you, since it’s pre-prepared dough ready to wrap up your apples in a flaky, buttery hug. The caramel topping takes this from yum to a omg-this-is-the-best-can-I-have-the-recipe kind of reaction. Trust us. When it comes to desserts, we don’t mess around here at Diply—only the most delicious will do.
What You’ll Need:
2 apples
2 cans refrigerated crescent rolls
1 1/2 cup butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
3/4 cup lemon lime soda
baking pan
pot
oven
hungry people who love delicious things
The Method:
Peel and cut your apples. Roll them up all cozy-like in the crescent rolls. Place them in the baking pan. Next, combine the butter, cinnamon and sugars in a pan. Melt. Mix. Bring to a boil. When ready, pour that delicious caramely goodness all over the rolls. Next pour the lemon lime soda around the edges of the rolls. Bake. Your home will be filled with the aroma of apple pie goodness. You will be happy.
