15 Pulp Fiction Facts That Are Tastier Than A Royale With Cheese

It may seem like an oxymoron to have a massively successful cult film, but nothing fits the bill like Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction. Between the clever, snappy dialogue, the jumbled chronology and the masterful ways it pushed the envelope, this stands out as one of the most unique films of all time.

And with a movie as wild as this one, it’s no surprise that it was just as interesting to make as it was to see. And we’ve given you a taste of some of the facts lurking behind the scenes of Pulp Fiction before, but there’s plenty more where that came from.

And so, check out these 15 awesome facts about one of Tarantino’s most celebrated movies. And let us know if you thought of any we missed.

1. Vincent’s 1964 Chevelle Malibu was stolen during filming.

The Chevy had belonged to Tarantino and it was thought to be lost forever until police in the Oakland area finally recovered it two years ago.

2. Honey Bunny’s name came from an actual bunny.

When Linda Chen edited the film’s screenplay, she did so on the condition that Tarantino look after her rabbit, Honey Bunny. He refused and the rabbit eventually died, so Amanda Plummer’s character was named in its honor.

3. The F-word is said 265 times throughout the movie.

But that’s not the most often you’ll hear it in his movies, since Reservoir Dogs boasts 269.

4. Matt Dillon was originally considered for Butch.

Dillon said he needed time to think about it, but Tarantino changed his mind about casting him after meeting Bruce Willis.
