Anyone who has had the unfortunate pleasure of using a public restroom can back me when I say they are a complete toss-up. When a bathroom emergency arises, most people don’t have time to be selective of where they do their business. They have to pick what’s readily available and run with it. For the most part, public restrooms are filthy and poorly maintained. However, if these pictures are any indication of what really goes on in some of them, then they’re liable to be much, much worse.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
