Halloween is just one day on the calendar year, but for a kid, every day is dress-up day. Who didn’t have a chest full of dress-up clothes when they were a kid? From time to time, I was definitely guilty of wearing my old Halloween costume out with my mom to the grocery store. And I’m sure on a few occasions I tried to sneak off to school wearing my Power Rangers outfit, but really, my outfit choices are nothing compared to this. Even if it is Halloween, these are just wrong.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
