Beloved McDonald"s Employee With Down Syndrome Retires After 32 Years

What an accomplishment to be able to say that you have worked at the same place for 32 years! Freia David has hung up her McDonald’s visor after over three decades of service to this cooperation. She had been working at the McDonald’s in Needham, Massachusetts since 1984. She would work five days a week for three hours each day and customers would love to come in a chat with her.

For these past 32 years, Freia has been a beloved fixture at the McDonald’s in Needham, Massachusetts.

Before letting her retire her employers and co-workers showered her with love and tributes.

Even customers got in on the celebration — customers who had been blessed by her gentle smile and her generosity of spirit over the last three decades.

People brought cards, stuffed animals, and flowers.

Local TV crews even showed up. Roommates from her group home arrived, as did middle-aged residents who fried burgers alongside Freia as teenagers. A fitting celebration for someone so very special who gave so many years to do something that she loved to do. “She liked making french fries.”

Watch Freia’s celebration here and share this incredible story of dedication with your friends!
