Miracles happen when you least expect it, and that’s exactly what makes them so magical! Some people live their entire lives trying to plan and prepare for everything life throws at them, but in the end, it’s life’s surprises that end up having the most lasting effect on you. 











Just ask Terri, Josh, and their Great Dane Velma about surprises…






When they found out that their beloved dog Velma was pregnant, Josh and Terri were ecstatic! They did their best to prepare their house for the birthing process and to keep Velma calm and comfortable. 




Little did they know that they were in store for a bit of a surprise…













The couple expected Velma to give birth to about 10 puppies, but one by one, Velma kept producing more and more puppies. After several hours, Velma had surpassed the size of her expected litter…




…and was showing no signs of slowing down.






Nineteen hours later, Velma’s birthing process was finally over and Josh and Terri had found themselves with way more than 10 puppies. Producing about one puppy an hour, Velma was now the happy mother of an incredible 19 puppies!

Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant.
