These days, it seems like Australians are taking over Hollywood! And they’re so good at hiding their accent that they make you think they’re American! And Chris Hemsworth (and his brothers!) is one of those Australian imports who has captured the hearts of so many. Everybody knows Chris as Thor, the Marvel superhero! But in real life, he’s a pretty big deal too. He was voted as People’s Sexiest Man Alive in 2014! Chris is pretty quiet about his personal life but we’ve gathered the best facts about him that everyone should know. 











1. Chris isn’t the only Hemsworth that’s an actor. His older brother Luke currently stars on the HBO show Westworld and his younger brother Liam is famous for playing Gale Hawthorne in The Hunger Games series.






2. He will always love acting but Chris has said that he has such a strong passion for surfing. 













3. The Hemsworth brothers are competitive in every aspect of their lives except when it comes to roles. Chris has said that they always support one another when it comes to auditions. 






4. Liam and Chris both auditioned for the part of Thor. Initially, Liam was one of the four finalists and Chris didn’t even receive a callback! But in the end, Chris snagged the role and has played the demigod in four movies. And there are still more Marvel movies to come!
