The chemistry between Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore was undeniable but what made the story sweet was how caring Adam’s character was in the movie. He really loved Drew’s character and just wanted to be with her for the rest of her life even though she suffered from memory loss. In the movie, Henry pulls out all the stops to keep romancing Lucy every day even though she never remembered anything that happened the day before.

Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant.
