Pastry Chef Is Winning The Internet With His Rubik"s Cakes




Something I have always been fascinated by is how creative people can be when it comes to food — especially pastries and desserts. Even though I am a huge fan of the simpler things in life, like a vanilla cupcake covered in Funfetti frosting, I admire the detail and precision that certain chefs put into their work.


Take Chef Cédric Grolet for example. Not only was he named best pastry chef in 2016 by the Relais Desserts association, but his showstopping, artistic approach to food has put him at the top of his industry.











And while Chef Grolet is a huge fan of tradition, he has been known to turn it on its head from time to time. 






One of his most stunning creations is his Rubik’s Cake series, which takes inspiration from the iconic Rubik’s cube puzzle. 













As you can see, each piece is perfect in its own, unique way, and even though they probably taste like heaven, they definitely look too good to eat!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
