One Jar Of Vaseline Just Transformed A Girl"s Entire Life




Unfortunately, in many regions of the world people don’t have immediate access to modern medical practices or supplies. A 13-year-old girl named Nagina has had to deal with this exact situation in Nepal. A devastating skin condition was left completely unchecked her entire life, mainly due to the fact that her parents lacked the funds to get proper medical attention. 


Nagina has a rare condition called ichthyosis vulgaris that leads to severe clumping of dead skin across her entire body. Luckily, Vaseline and the international charity Direct Relief have gotten her the medical products she needs to treat her condition. You have to see Nagina now!

Nagina was covered head to toe with scales resulting from ichthyosis vulgaris, a genetic skin condition that can be treated with basic medical supplies available in developed countries.


Unfortunately, her condition began to take over her body completely simply due to the fact that her parents couldn’t get her medical help.




Ichthyosis vulgaris is inherited from one or both parents.


The scaly build-up of skin results can result from dead skin cells not properly being disposed of and may be exacerbated by new skin cells growing too quickly.











When medical professionals were finally able to attend to Nagina she was living in a shed, unable to move.


Not only was she unable to move, she was severely depressed as a result of her debilitating situation. 




Doctors used a combination of vaseline and gauze to alleviate the scaly skin.






The process doctors went through to help Nagina’s skin was shocking to say the least…
