20 Crappy Bathrooms People Actually Built

If there’s any room in the house or in public that absolutely positively has to be well designed, it’s the bathroom. We can’t abide a bathroom where we can’t go and do our business in peace. Because, let’s face it, the bathroom is our fortress of solitude, the last bastion of privacy in a loud, crowded world, a respite when you’re vulnerable and desperate.

So when bathrooms aren’t thought out well, everybody loses. The only thing worse than a poorly designed bathroom is having to use one. It’s not like you’re going to have a ton of alternatives. So count yourself lucky if you’ve never found yourself in one of these crappy bathrooms.

1. Makes you wonder why they even bothered putting doors on the stalls.
