The other day, my best friend was telling me about some emotional turmoil she was currently dealing with via text message with her boyfriend.

In true BFF style, she let me read every single text.

As I went through the emotionally-charged notes back and forth, all I could think to myself was, “I miss these days.”

I’ve been with my husband for the better part of a decade. After leaving her house, I quickly went through my own text message exchange with my spouse.
