In Canada, Milk Comes In A Bag

In the United States, we don’t think twice about what kind of container our milk is in. Milk comes in a jug or carton, and that’s just the way it is, right? What about our neighbors to the north? If you were asked what Canadians store their milk in, you’d probably just assume the same thing because we love Canada and they are our friends. They do it differently, people, and you might be surprised why.

In the United States, people are used to seeing milk come in a carton.

Or a plastic jug like this.

Did you know that our brothers and sisters to the north, Canada, do things their own way? They put milk in a bag!

When you approach the milk section in a Canadian supermarket, this is what you’ll see, a bunch of bags.

This isn’t it, though. There’s another bag inside of this bag.
