12 Times The 100-Layer Challenge Went Too Far




When the 100-layer challenge first came out, I was mortified. The first 100-layer challenge video I saw was 100 layers of nail polish. It looked ridiculous, and as time went on, people thought of even crazier 100-layer challenges to do. So now, YouTube is filled with those types of videos. 


Each 100-layer challenge is grosser than the next, but that doesn’t stop me from watching them — they’re addicting to watch, and they’re definitely my guilty pleasure! I know it’s all for fun, so I do not take it seriously. If you love the 100-layer challenge as much as I do, check out 12 times it went a little too far.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
