Robin Williams’ Widow Opens Up About What He Was Really Like Behind Closed Doors

Robin Williams inspired, entertained, and made people laugh around the word for 38 years of his career. It’s safe to say that nobody saw his tragic death coming in 2014 when it was announced that he had committed suicide. There were so many questions that would eventually be answered, but it didn’t change the fact that we lost a good one. Three years later, Robin’s widow, Susan Schneider Williams, is opening up about what he was really like behind closed doors when the world wasn’t watching.

It’s safe to say that the odds of somebody having not seen a Robin Williams movie in their lifetime are pretty slim.

Robin’s sudden death shocked the world.

It was later reported with his autopsy that he had diffuse Lewy body dementia and committed suicide in his home.

Robin’s widow, Susan Schneider Williams, has been open about Robin’s death in the past.

She wrote, “He died from suicide in 2014 at the end of an intense, confusing, and relatively swift persecution at the hand of this disease’s symptoms and pathology.”

The world knew Robin as a man who brought joy to many, but there was another side to him that we almost never saw.
