Have you ever been trapped in a Pinterest wormhole? I sure have. It just keeps scrolling and scrolling, and then when you get down to the bottom, you can’t help but click the refresh button. It’s so easy to get lost in the sea of beautiful food and crafts that look so complicated, but you are a DIY maven and so totally could make it yourself, right? Right.


But then you get started and it all falls apart. I’m not talking about it looking a little off. I’m talking about it being in total fail territory. Pinterest is not our friend. Don’t let it fool you.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
