15 Things About "Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World" That Are A Level-Up

I love when a movie is so unique you can’t even classify it. Trying to put Scott Pilgrim vs. The World into a box is damn near impossible. It’s a musical, an action movie, a romantic comedy — it really does have something for everybody. So here are some facts about the eclectically entertaining Scott Pilgrim.

1. Metric, Broken Social Scene, and Beck are the writers behind the fictional band’s music in this movie.

This soundtrack is definitely worth a listen!

2. The lead singer of Canadian band Sloan was the musical supervisor.

He made sure all the actors were actually playing their instruments properly.

3. Bill Hader does all the videogame style voice overs.

“Scott earned the power of self-respect!”

4. The first ending was going to have Scott end up with Knives, not Ramona.

Which I’d be okay with. Ramona was too hipster for her own good.

Can Your Ex Tell The Difference Between Adele Lyrics And Drunk Texts? This Girl Found Out!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
