How The World Of Technology Has Divided Us As A Society




2KindsofPeople is a Tumblr that hosts a collection of simple and elegant drawings that outline some of the significant differences between people. For example, while eating pizza, some people eat the crusts and others do not OR some people prefer e-readers to actual books…monsters. 


But I think the most significant divides between these two types of people come from how we use our technology. Now, there are many different ways to eat a pizza, but when it comes to how we set our morning alarms or whether or not we keep a million tabs open, there are really only two ways about it…a right way and a wrong way.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
