Father Faces Criticism For Allowing His Young Children To Play With Pit Bulls

As someone who loves dogs and doesn’t like to discriminate when it comes to breeds, I’ve had my fair share of conversations with people about pit bulls. I am a firm believer that dogs, regardless of their size, age, gender, or breed, and their behavior, good or bad, rest solely on their owners and the environment they are raised in. In other words, don’t blame breeds, blame people for Fido’s bad behavior.

Discriminating against particular breeds is something that has been happening for decades — the current target just happens to be the pit bull. Luckily, there are plenty of people out there who are able to look past the stigma society has placed on them, and while they may face some harsh criticism for it, their actions are saving countless canine lives.

Social Media Problems

Over the last few months, a father of two by the name of Jarad has been the target of some harsh criticism for photos and videos he has posted on his Instagram account.

A Family-Owned Company

Jarad is the owner of MVP Bullies, an American bully breeding company located just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. It is a small, family company that not only takes pride in its pedigree, but also the bully breed as a whole.

Dogs Are Family

All of their dogs are treated like family and are trained and socialized to respect both humans and other animals. Because of this, Jarad has no problem allowing his two young children to mix and mingle with them.

A Special Bond

In fact, Jarad’s youngest son, Cruise, has formed special bonds with his family’s dogs, and they are extremely gentle and tender with him. And to prove to the world that pit bulls and other stigmatized breeds can be trusted around small children, Jarad has posted numerous photos and videos that showcase the relationships his kids have with their four-legged friends.
