I hate Snapchat because people abuse it. I’ve deleted most, if not all the people who send dozens of snaps a day in order to chronicle their empty, shallow lives, thinking people actually care (I bet some do, but I don’t) I had as contacts and retained a select few people who send snaps that make me laugh. 


Other than that, the extent of my Snapchatting happens via Instagram and Reddit, where people have gone through the trouble of weeding out the garbage for me. And, for this list, I chose some of my favorite ones.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
