Bartender Swaps Drinks So Would-Be Criminal Scumbag Drugs Himself

It took me a long time to realize that I was privileged. I can walk into a bar, anywhere in the world, order a drink, sit down, savor it, and walk out again without any worries. When something comes that easily to you, you just take it for granted. But the sad, tragic fact is that half the population can’t enjoy that scenario the same way I can. Women can walk into a bar and order a drink, but they can’t do it worry-free. It’s not their fault, and it’s just not right.

You can’t say that a single serving of justice will help to balance the scales in any way, but it sure is nice to hear that there are still good people in the world on the lookout for the scumbags and creeps who want to do harm.

A bartender took to social media to share his experience after witnessing an attempted date rape, and the internet loves him for turning the tables.

According to his Whisper confession – which is a platform where everything is done anonymously – when he saw the guy try to drug a girl’s drink, he switched the drinks up so he would drug himself.

Naturally, the reaction has been ecstatic from men and women alike, with hundreds of other Whisper users expressing their appreciation for his actions.

Some pointed out that he should have called the cops as well, although we obviously didn’t get the full story in such a short message.

And it’s always a good idea to call the cops in that situation. It might feel good to turn the tables, but anybody who tries to drug another person is a criminal and needs to be behind bars.

It happens much, much too often. The US Department of Health and Human Services reports that 50 percent of women have experienced some form of sexual assault, and up to half of sexual assault victims had been drinking.

But for many it’s hard to deny that giving a potential rapist a taste of his own medicine is pure, 100 percent, uncut justice. What do you think?

And here’s hoping that more people will step in too keep others from harm!
