Rowan Blanchard Opens Up About Being Harassed At 12 Years Old




Rowan Blanchard is one amazing teenager. She’s got an amazing acting career and has publicly spoken up about many issues that are important to her. She’s faced criticism that would send most people running, but handled it like a pro. Now she’s opening up about a time in her life that sparked the fire of speaking out for her. She was harassed on the street at just 12 years old and has not forgotten it. Rowan’s story is definitely an important one to tell.  











Rowan Blanchard landed the part of Riley Matthews on the Disney Channel’s Girl Meets World when she was thirteen years old. 






She’s now almost 15 years old, and has spoken up about a lot of issues that have been very important to her in the past. 













The topics she speaks about range from everything including gun violence, intersectional feminism, and human rights. 






Rowan wasn’t always so public with her voice, but after she was harassed at just 12 years old, she realized she needed to start speaking up.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant.
