10 "Brady Bunch" Scandals

One of the most popular shows in sitcom history has got to be ABC’s The Brady Bunch. Premiering in 1969, The Brady Bunch followed the adventures of a large blended family. Episodes of the show often taught valued lessons about life, morals and friendship. But despite the show’s overwhelming optimism, there were a lot of shocking things going on behind the scenes. Don’t believe me? Well then check out these crazy secrets.

1. The actress who played Marcia actually envied the one who played Jan.

Even people who aren’t familiar with the show know that Jan (who was the middle child) always felt that Marcia got all the attention. But did you know that in real life, the roles were reversed?

Maureen McCormick, the actress who played Marcia, was self-conscious of her own body.

To make matters worse, Eve Plumb (the actress who played Jan) had developed curves and was not afraid to flaunt them.

2. Marcia and Greg hooked up! Apparently Maureen McCormick and Barry Williams shared a few kisses in their trailers while filming the Hawaii episodes.

Barry later admitted, “It was hard not to notice how pretty she was and how attracted I was to her.”
