I’m always puzzled by people who post the worst things that have happened to them on the internet. I mean, I get that it can get you crazy likes, upvotes, retweets, whatever, but isn’t the fact that a disaster is happening a little more important? For the most part, no, it’s not, because it’s really not as dramatic as I made it sound just then. But seriously, in our day and age, phones are used to capture the moment and not to call for help! So let’s get together and have a laugh with some people who decided to snap a pic rather than fix the sitch!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
