Not everyone gets to enjoy a cold winter every year, but if you do, you know it’s not all a winter wonderland. If you’re lucky enough to live in the northern part of our planet, you’ve probably struggled with one or two snow storms and their aftermath. There are all sorts of things we do each day to deal with the ice and snow, but are they as efficient as they can be? Is there a better way? Diply’s been there, and here’s what we did.











There are ways to save your time, fingers, sanity and whatever part of the body you might shatter while trying to dig your car out of an unplowed street. You can use things you would find in your car like your floor mats and that terrible Britney Spears CD someone left in your vehicle (of course it’s not yours). Next time you wake up to snow on your windows, smile to yourself because you’ve got a plan and winter doesn’t have a chance.

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
