Why "RollerCoaster Tycoon" Was The Best And Worst Part Of Your Childhood

We’re willing to bet that RollerCoaster Tycoon was one of the first computer games you ever played. If it was, then you got really lucky because it was seriously the best. It taught you physics, it was great for budgeting and imagination, plus you got to watch your park guests die. Anyway, we’re here to bring one huge blast from the past with 19 reasons why this game was the best and worst part of your childhood (but mostly the best).

1. Logging on to RollerCoaster Tycoon and hearing sound of the creepy coaster tracks, the scream of the riders, and then the eerie carnival music.

All gearing you up for THE BEST GAME EVER. Until your mom kicked you off because she “needed the computer”. Ya right, mom.

2. Getting SO excited to make the most bomb park ever.

Yes! You’re going to hit all your goals, and have the coolest coasters, and everything is going to be color coordinated.

3. Realizing you have pennies for a budget and your park ends up looking something like this so you start charging people to go to the washrooms.

4. Not understanding why a coaster crashes and burns when you did EVERYTHING RIGHT???
