12 "Brokeback Mountain" Facts We Never Knew

In 2005, a movie came out that ultimately showed the world just how dedicated and talented Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger were. It was a love story like no other, and today it remains one of the most groundbreaking films of the decade. I am, of course, talking about Brokeback Mountain. The movie saw Gyllenhaal and Ledger play two cowboys coming to terms with their love for one another.

The film made headlines, but there’s still a lot we don’t know about the making of the film.

Check it out.

1. The movie poster was inspired by the one associated with Titanic.

Notice the similarities?

2. Heath Ledger met his wife on the set.

Michelle Williams and Ledger hit if off almost immediately.

3. Heath Ledger pursed his lips so that flies wouldn’t get into his mouth.

Many thought this was just part of his role, but it wasn’t.

You’re drunk and your oven is broken… And you really want pizza… 3. So you deep fry your pizza Drunk you is so smart. 4. Can Your Ex Tell The Difference Between Adele Lyrics And Drunk Texts? This Girl Found Out!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
