Now that football is finally back, I became so enthralled that I forgot the NFL rests on four of the seven days of the week. At least when the off-season hits, I come to terms with the fact that my life will be devoid of my one true love for six months — if you’re counting preseason. However, when the season is in full swing, I find myself spending my off nights longing for more of Jon Gruden’s nonsensical musings, wishing I could just fast-forward to Monday night so that he can infect me with more of his terrible takes, and I hate myself for it. I wouldn’t wish this sick addiction on anyone. So in the interest of saving everyone from the crippling mid-week void left by the heartless, soulless NFL, I have created this pic dump to serve as a brief distraction. Enjoy!

Adele’s new song “Hello” is perfect listening for anyone who wants to unnecessarily relive the emotional trauma of having your heart shattered into a billion pieces. The song is about the failures of reconnecting with a loved one after painful years apart. If you can get through the song without having a crippling, tear-soaked breakdown, then you likely have no heart. You also might find that the lyrics are uncannily similar to a drunken text you might send your ex. Mary Caldera noticed this similarity and decided to test it out on her ex-boyfriend, Matt. Poor Matt clearly didn’t get the reference. Naturally, Matt assumed Mary was just drunk texting him, and his deadpan and confused response is brilliant. If you think Mary was cruel for texting Matt and getting his hopes up, well, she didn’t stop there. She also posted the entire exchange on Twitter, much to our delight!
